As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) concluded its national convention in Abuja, Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Seyi Makinde has congratulated members of the party.

Governor Makinde described the success witnessed at the event as a pivotal step in the party’s ‘Operation Rescue Nigeria’ in 2023.

He commended all the party members and supporters of the PDP at home and in the diaspora on the outcome of the 2021 National Convention.

“I thank everyone who contributed to making our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Convention 2021 a resounding success”. Let me also congratulate all newly elected members of the National Working Committee led by our able Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.

Governor Makinde, in his statement said: “the successful conduct of our National Convention is a pivotal step in ‘Operation Rescue Nigeria’. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shown its readiness to lead the charge. We present a united front as we invite all well-meaning Nigerians to join our great party to rescue Nigeria”.
