The Local Government Chairmen in Ibadan Less City, Oyo State have conferred ‘ Mother of the Year Award’ on First Lady of the Pacesetter State, Engr. Tamunomini Olufunke Makinde.

The Executive Chairman, Egbeda Local Government and the ALGON Chairman, Oyo State, Sanda Sikiru Oyedele who is popularly known as Lajuee disclosed this in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen.

According to him, ”with the glory of God, the combined Chairmen of the greater city which was being referred to as (less city) were graciously honoured with audience by the First Lady of Oyo State, Engr. Tamunomini Olufunke Makinde Omi-Tuntun. As we honourably presented Her Excellency ‘Mother of the Year Award’ during her visit to the Ilaji Hotels & Resort while the First Lady presented and empowered over five hundred (500) beneficiaries with items ranging from grounding machines, tailoring machines, Hairdryers, gas cylinders with burners”.

“We thank God for His grace and mercy, as we jointly and successfully organised the programme. We appreciate our wives for their support and encouragement, may God bless us all”, Lajue prayed.
