The Police Public Relations Office has debunked stories making the rounds on social media that members of the Park Management System attacked policemen in Ibadan.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Office, SP. Adewale Osifeso Anipr, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, an operative of the Special Tactical Squad (STS) enroute Lagos from Abuja was attacked by some suspected hoodlums. Oyo State Police Command’s tactical and operational assets were deployed promptly. This led to the rescue of an operative inflicted with deep machete cuts and the recovery of (2) two AK47 riffles. No life was lost in the incident.
