MAKINDE GETS ANOTHER NATIONAL ASSIGNMENT FROM PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted the National Campaign Council for the February 12, 2022 Local Government Area Council Elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

A statement signed by the National Organizing Secretary of the party, Hon Umar Bature stated that the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde will serve as the Secretary of the campaign council. It could be recalled that the Governor was appointed by the party as the secretary of the National Planning Committee of the convention held between October 30-31, 2021.

This is the first time ever a governor elected on the platform of PDP from the Southwest will be playing a leading role in the party affairs.
