The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), South-West Zone will hold its expanded zonal caucus meeting on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2022.

This was contained in a memoir signed by the National Vice-chairman of the party, Olasoji Adagunodo.

The meeting will be held at Agodi Government House, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The statement reads:

“This is to invite leaders to the extended Zonal Caucus Meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, South-West Zone.

“The meeting is in compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Peoples Democratic Party Section 27 (5) – ZONAL CAUCUS – and the composition is as follows.

Establishment and Composition:

(5) There shall be a Zonal Caucus of the Party which shall consist of:

(a) The National Vice Chairman of the Zone who shall be the Chairman and other members of the Zonal Working Committee;

(b) Serving and former Presidents and Vice Presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the Zone, if members of the Party;

(c) Serving and former Governors and Deputy Governors of States in the zone, if members of the Party;

(d) Serving and former members of the National Assembly from the Zone produced by the Party, who are still members of the Party

(e) Serving and former members of the National Executive Committee from the Zone, who are still members of the Party;

(f) The Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen and Secretaries of the Party in the states in the zone;

(g) Serving and former Speakers and Deputy Speakers of House of Assembly in the Zone, if members of the Party;

(h) Serving and former:

(i) Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the Zone;

(ii) Secretaries to the Government of the Federation from the Zone;

(iii) Ambassador from the Zone;

(iv) Special Advisers and Special Assistants to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the Zone; and

(v) The Chairmen of Federal Boards and Parastatals from the Zone, who are still members of the Party;

(vi) Three Physically Challenged Persons (PCP) admitted into the Caucus by the Caucus.
