The Oyo state government has announced May 5th, 2022, as the resumption date for public and private schools in the state.

Atere A.B., who is the permanent secretary, ministry of education, science and technology, disclosed this in a circular that was seen on Tuesday.

According to the circular, teaching and learning activities are expected to commence immediately after schools resume from the second term holiday.

The circular added that the officials of the ministry would be fully deployed to enforce compliance with the directive.
