Three police officers who were reported to have extorted some citizens around Oluyole area of Ibadan on May 8th, 2022, face discipline as the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Prince Oluwamuyiwa Adejobi testifies against them in the officers’ orderly room trial in Ibadan.

According to him, this was in a bid to enforce discipline and restore sanity in the police force as this will serve as a deterrent to others.

He said, “The NPF must be better, provided we all see it as a responsibility and act accordingly.

“We need to sacrifice whatever we can to bring sanity to our system.

“Thanks to the CP Oyo, CP Williams, for his understanding and support, we are on the same page on this fight against indiscipline, unprofessionalism and corruption”, he added.
