The Oyo State Government via the Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA) request hastened restoration of Federal roads in the State.

This was during a meeting of the Agency Chairman, Hon. Busoye Ogunlade with the Zonal Director-General of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA, Engr. Yemi Ojo in a bid to make all roads in Oyo State free of potholes.

The OYSROMA boss noted that the condition of most federal roads in the State is poor, and are the subject of daily complaints by the citizens.

The FERMA DG also responded by assuring the OYSROMA boss that a team of engineers will commence inspection of each federal road leading to Oyo State towns, and figure out the necessary measures to improve the roads.

The OYSROMA Chairman also went ahead to appeal to the Oyo State citizens to be patient believing that the FERMA boss will attend to the roads as promised.
