OYSROMA COMMENCES REHABILITATION OF STATE, LG ROADS.

The Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency OYSROMA has commenced the rehabilitation of critical deplorable roads in some State and Local Government areas roads across Ibadan metropolis.

Honourable Ogunlade Busoye, Chairman Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency OYSROMA stated this during an interaction with Journalists shortly after he looked–over the roads that are being rehabilitated by the Agency’s Engineers.

He said that OYSROMA Engineers have started work on this stretch of roads: Jemibewon-Cele-Oando filling station roads; Parliament–Secretariat roads; Dugbe–Oke-Ado–Molete roads; Challenge–Mile 110 road and Challenge-Efunsetan-NASFAT road junction.

Honourable Ogunlade also assured residents that desilting of drainages would form an integral part of the rehabilitation work to ensure that flood water does not destroy the road again.

While acknowledging the plight of commuters on the roads, he noted that the State Government was aware of the unpalatable situation and the government is working assiduously to ensure that deplorable roads across the state are fixed.

He stated further that the State Government has not folded its arms on the matter, adding that efforts have been made to finding lasting solution to the decaying roads.

While reiterating the Governor Seyi Makinde led government’s
commitment to make life more comfortable for the people and residents in the state, he assured them that Oyo state Road Maintenance Agency OYSROMA under the able leadership of Engineer Seyi Makinde will do the needful to rid Oyo state roads of potholes.
