The Governor of Oyo State, H. E. Engr Seyi Makinde, has just been elected as the Vice Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), while his counterpart in Kwara State, H. E. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is now the Chairman of the NGF.

The announcement was made few minutes ago after an exhaustive meeting of the Forum in Abuja.

This new appointment is in recognition of Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitments to nation-building, his numerous accomplishments in his state and his tireless efforts in promoting peace across the country.

Congratulations to him, the people of Oyo state and the PDP family nationwide. This is an honour well deserved.
