As part of efforts to ensure lasting peace and tranquility in the Oyo State transportation sector, the State Government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde will on Thursday convey an expanded stakeholders meeting in the transportation sector.
According to the information from the Chief of Staff office, the Townhall parley will enable the state government chart a new course forward in the administration of the enforcement arm of Park Management System sequel to the dissolution of former Auxiliary led Park Management System Disciplinary Committee.
According to information obtained by Goalpoacher News which was also announced by ace broadcast journalist, Mayor Isaac Brown on Fresh FM on Tuesday morning, the meeting will be presided over by top government official.
The meeting will be held at the House of Chiefs, Parliament Building, Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan.
The stakeholder peace meeting will be broadcasted live statewide by Fresh FM and other radio station partners for transparency and direct update from the venue.
Accreditation of invited stakeholders will commence by 8am and each faction invited is expected to come along with ten members.
Various stakeholders expected at the peace and reconciliation meeting are, Alhaji Tokyo’s faction, Olowo Geesi faction, Alhaji Abideen Ejiogbe faction, Abass Amolese faction.
Others include Tirimisiyu Olowooposi, Heavy duty truck owners and drivers, ACCOMMORAN, motorcycle and tricycle operators among others.
