It has come to our attention that a message is circulating on WhatsApp, claiming that there is an ongoing Federal Civil Service recruitment and directing people to Room 209 at the Federal Secretariat, as well as to the Federal Civil Service Commission at 3 Abidjan Street, Zone 3, Wuse, Abuja. This information is completely false and misleading.
The memo posted on the notice board at the Federal Secretariat in Ibadan clearly states:
Fake news! Fake news!! Fake news!!!
This is to inform the public to be warned about the fake news regarding obtaining a civil service form in Room 209 at the Federal Secretariat. This is just a fake news. Please be warned, if you need a civil service form, go to the Abuja Federal Secretariat for collection.
We urge everyone to be cautious and verify any such information before acting on it or sharing it further. The Federal Civil Service Commission will always provide official announcements through legitimate and verified channels
