Oyo State Government has reaffirmed its dedication to providing top-notch healthcare services to its citizens, emphasizing the maintenance and provision of modern health facilities.
The Oyo state Acting Governor, Barrister Bayo-Lawal, made this pledge during an inspection tour of some State hospitals facilities in Ibadan, the State capital.
He reiterated the present administration’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art facilities and ensuring existing ones remain functional.
Barrister Bayo-Lawal however charged the State Hospital Management Board to raise awareness about existing facilities and apply for necessary upgrades, as he assured citizens of total revitalization of equipment and facilities within state hospitals for quality healthcare delivery regardless of age, status, or class.
The Chairman, State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi appreciated Engr Seyi Makinde-led administration for prioritizing healthcare. He emphasized the importance of monitoring and supervising state healthcare facilities to prevent underutilization.
