Dangote Refinery’s retail partner, MRS Holdings, will sell petrol at N860 per litre in Lagos and N870 per litre in Ibadan and other parts of the South-West, following a recent price reduction by the refinery.
The refinery’s management announced this on Wednesday after lowering its ex-depot price from N890 to N825 per litre, a move aimed at easing the financial burden on Nigerians ahead of the Ramadan season and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic recovery efforts.
According to the refinery, MRS Holdings stations will offer petrol at N860 per litre in Lagos, N870 per litre in the South-West (including Ibadan), N880 per litre in the North, N890 per litre in the South-South and South-East
Meanwhile, petrol prices at AP (Ardova Petroleum) and Heyden stations will be,N865 per litre in Lagos, N875 per litre in the South-West, N885 per litre in the NorthN895 per litre in the South-South and South-East
Dangote Petroleum Refinery reassured Nigerians of a steady fuel supply, with enough reserves to meet domestic demand and surplus for export, which would help strengthen Nigeria’s foreign exchange earnings.
The company also urged marketers to support the initiative, ensuring that Nigerians benefit directly from the price reduction.
