In a remarkable display of compassion and community service, the Bethiez Relief and Empowerment Foundation successfully carried out a large-scale charity outreach on Friday, November 8th, 2025, at Agboye Village, in Atiba LGA, Oyo State, impacting the lives of over 300 registered beneficiaries comprising men, women, and children.
The outreach was designed to address hunger, basic household needs, and educational support for underserved populations in the community. Every registered beneficiary was attended to, ensuring an inclusive and well-coordinated intervention.
During the outreach, the Foundation distributed a wide range of essential relief materials, including bags of rice, beans, garri, Golden Penny spaghetti, Indomie noodles, cooking ingredients such as salt and other condiments, as well as wrappers for elderly women. Children received books, writing materials, food items, and Indomie noodles, while families were supported with cash assistance and other household essentials to help ease daily economic pressures.

The event was honoured by the presence of respected traditional and community leaders, including the Oba of the locality, whose attendance reinforced community trust and highlighted the importance of collaboration in grassroots development efforts.

Speaking passionately at the event, Ademola Elizabeth Adedayo, Founder of the Bethiez Relief and Empowerment Foundation, shared the personal motivation behind the Foundation’s work:
“This work is deeply personal to me. I am drawn to serving the needy, the fatherless, and the poor because I understand that sometimes, all people need is to be seen, supported, and reminded that they are not forgotten. Food may seem basic, but to a hungry family, it is hope. To a child, it is strength. And to an elderly person, it is dignity.”

She further emphasized that the Foundation’s mission goes beyond one-time interventions, focusing instead on restoring dignity and building stronger, more resilient communities.

Beyond relief distribution, the outreach created moments of joy and connection. Beneficiaries participated in quizzes, games, dance competitions, and interactive activities, turning the programme into a vibrant celebration of unity and human connection. Laughter, music, and shared experiences filled the atmosphere, making the day memorable for both volunteers and community members.
Volunteers worked diligently to ensure orderly registration, fair distribution, and a welcoming environment for all attendees. Community members expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, describing it as timely, impactful, and thoughtfully executed.

The Abule Village outreach reflects the Bethiez Relief and Empowerment Foundation’s continued commitment to addressing food insecurity, poverty, and educational gaps across underserved communities in Nigeria. The Foundation remains open to partnerships with donors, corporate organizations, and development partners who share its vision of sustainable impact.

As demonstrated in Agboye Village, when compassion is backed by action, communities thrive and hope is renewed.
