Dr Kareem added that the residents, citizens and public in the state should watch out for the sources of water they drink and should be wary of locally made beverages and food they eat outside.

While sensitizing the public on first aid in the case of any suspected incident, the state Epidemiologist noted that people should avoid consumption of contaminated food especially cold or raw food.

Dr. Kareem who spoke with Bode stated that anyone stooling and vomiting at this time should be given ORS water and taken to the hospital for proper examination.
