Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State, has urged rumour carriers to appeal to relevant anti-graft organizations with facts about his organization’s activities rather than making false accusations on radio stations and social media platforms.

The Governor expressed this while talking on a live radio program on Fresh FM, Ibadan, as a component of his re-election campaign. Several issues were brought to the table, among which was the lingering allegation of insufficiencies in the obtainment of notebooks for pupils within the state. Some claimed that a notebook purchased for 300 Naira was sold for 2,100 Naira. It was disseminated by the Governor. On the gifts given to government schools, the Governor said those who take government cash must be able to account for it.

Talking about the endeavours of the current administration in agribusiness, Governor Seyi Makinde emphasized that his administration has created an empowering environment for agribusiness to flourish, a position that has given Oyo State worldwide recognition.

While expressing that the government has utilized 300 officers to complement endeavours on squander administration, the Governor said he is, however, yet to be satisfied with the output.
