TINUBU SWEARS IN AKUME AS SGF

President Bola Tinubu has sworn-in Sen. George Akume as the new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The brief event, which gathered dignitaries, including some serving and former Governors, saw Sen. Akume taking his Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office around 11:06 am inside the Council Chambers of the Villa on Tuesday.

Among those who witnessed the ceremony were Vice President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Ahmed Lawan; Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr FolasadeYemi-Esan and wife of the new SGF, Mrs Regina Akume.
