The Oyo State House of Assembly has passed the State Drug and Health Commodity Management Agency Bill, 2024 into law.
The bill brought to the house by the executive was passed into law to address the challenges of uncoordinated drug distribution in the pharmaceutical sector.
The legislative activities of the State House of Assembly presided over by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Abiodun Fadeyi began with the third reading of the State Drug and Heath commodity management Agency Bill 2024.
Presenting the bill at the floor of the house, the chairman committee on health, Hon. Gbadamosi Saminu said necessary steps have been taken to ensure smooth passage of the bill.
The house also holds a special plenary session to honour the outgoing deputy clerk, Legislative Matters, Research and Budget, Mrs. Mobolanle Adetifa and commended her for contributing meaningfully to the State Assembly.
