Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary, the former chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS), has been whisked away at his residence this afternoon by masked security operatives suspected to be men of the Department of State Services (DSS).
His family members confirmed the arrest in a statement to a radio station, Crest FM.
You will recall that the Oyo State Police Command had previously declared Auxiliary wanted in connection with various crimes, including attempted murder and arms dealing. The police had also raided his home, recovering several arms and ammunition.
Auxiliary’s arrest comes after he was sacked as PMS boss by Governor Seyi Makinde.
