The Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe passed away on wednesday at the age of 79.
According to reports, Oba Adebimpe who was on Friday, July 12, at the coronation of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, Ige Olakulehin I, had been hospitalized since July 13 due to illness.
A family source has confirmed that the late Osi Balogun’s remains will be buried at his family compound in Odinjo, Ibadan.
It should be noted that his father, Oba Gbadamosi Akanbi Adebimpe, was the 35th Olubadan of Ibadanland, reigning for 18 months from December 10, 1976, until his demise at the age of 85 on July 17, 1977.
