The Acting State Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal has charged newly inaugurated members of the governing board of the State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority, to be dedicated with the assignment at hand for the benefit of the people of the state.
He gave the charge during the inauguration event of the governing board held at the Executive Chambers of the Governor’s Office, Agodi, Ibadan.
Barrister Bayo Lawal while stating that Rule of Law is the bedrock upon which trust, safety and prosperity are built, added that the present administration in the state is committed to upholding the Rule of Law to reflect the dedication of the principles of justice, transparency and accountability.
He however maintained that the present administration has been proactive in ensuring that laws are strictly adhered to by prioritizing the security of lives and property of the citizenry.
He advised members to exercise power entrusted in them with integrity, equity and justice; and contribute their quota to the development and justice for the society.
