Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has maintained that the state would continue to focus and support private efforts in improving the state education sector.
The Governor who stated this during the 35th Church Anniversary and the 6th year Thanksgiving Service of Dominion University, also announced plans to construct an overhead bridge around Abiola Ajimobi Technical University and Dominion University Ibadan, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Governor Makinde also joined members of the Victory International Church Rehoboth Cathedral in raising their voices to the Lord as they celebrated.
In his remarks, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abel Olorunnisola highlighted the university’s rapid progress, noting significant growth in both enrolment and capacity.
Also speaking at the event, the Pro-Chancellor of the University, Pastor Dolapo Adelakun, emphasized the importance of embodying the principles of service, commitment and excellence.
