The Executive Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde has on Sunday stated that his victory in the March 11 governorship election would be landslide, adding that the gubernatorial candidates of opposition parties will congratulate him.

Makinde, who maintained that the love and support of the electorates for him and the Peoples Democratic Party will make his re-election unstoppable, made this known during a debate organised by Fresh 105.9 FM, Ibadan on Sunday.

Addressing one of his opponents in the forthcoming guber-election, Bayo Adelabu of Accord Party, who equally attended the debate, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde said, “I wish Bayo Adelabu well, but I will prevail”.

The governor said with the available meagre resources, he had put smiles on the faces of the people in the state, through provision of jobs and regular payment of salaries.

He said his administration has put in place over 250 Primary Healthcare Centres across all wards in the state, adding that his achievements in various sectors in more than three years would speak for him, and ensure his reelection.

The governor said that governance is for serious-minded people and not for those who lacked administrative capacity.

In the meantime, Makinde has stated that his administration would never be distracted by political machinations, rather, it would focus on quality service delivery to the people.
