Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission OYSIEC has released the timetable for election in 33 local government areas in Oyo state

According to the timetable, the election will hold on Saturday, 27th of April 2024 while the run-off election will hold on Monday, 4th of May 2024.

In a notice signed by OYSIEC chairman, Aare Isiaka Isola Olagunju, the process for the next local government election commences on the 28th of April 2023 while the conduction of the primary election is between June 19th and July 24th, 2023.
