There is nothing to show in the write up of Azeez Abdulmalik that his idea of party politics has outgrown what was tagged “amala politics” in Oyo State and “politics of stomach infrastructure” in Ekiti State.

The crisis he claims exist within PDP in Oyo State is not stated clearly for one to know the grouses of the individuals he mentioned. What is the issue? Do they border on ideas about how best to develop Oyo State?

Abdulmalik claimed that Governor Seyi Makinde’s attitude towards the party faithfuls has been cold from inception. The question is with what new or better ideas have these party faithfuls approached His Excellency about how to fulfill campaign promises to which he was cold?

H. E. promised to serve the people of Oyo State when he went through the length breadth, town, villages and communities asking the voters to give him the opportunity to be their servant. Who among the party faithfuls can claim that since GSM came to power, Oyo State has not been witnessing unprecedented positive changes?

The fear that the party may lose the next election if Abdulmalik’s crisis is not addressed does not exist. It is a mere figment of his imagination. With the level of development in Oyo State, the voters will turn out in their larger numbers than experienced in 2019, to vote GSM.

According to Azeez Abdulmalik, GSM deceived the national leadership of PDP by failing to put a call through to aggrieved members. If the national leadership of PDP reasons the way Abdulmalik is reasoning, GMS would not have been trusted to be Secretary of the forthcoming national convention of the party.

One would have expected those who asked Azeez Abdulmalik to write to approach GSM with whatever idea they have on how to liberate Oyo State people from many years of neglect by the previous administration.

One thing is clear, Abdulmalik and his cohorts want political offices in the present administration so as to put Oyo State “infrastructure” in their stomachs. GMS will never yield to any blackmail and neither will he appoint incompetent and unqualified individuals into his cabinet. This is a new dawn! Please wake up from your dogmatic slumber.
