The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has again raised the pump price of Petrol, known as Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from N537 to N617 in Abuja and environs.

According to reports, queues were sighted at some fueling stations on Tuesday morning as NNPC fueling stations in Abuja remained shut for some few hours for adjustment of fuel pumps to reflect the new price.

Independent oil marketers, who confirmed the increase in the cost of the commodity, stated that any shift in price by NNPCL stations was an indication of a rise in the pump price of PMS.
