In a recent development, Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has made several new appointments to key positions. Barrister Ayodele Adekanmbi and Mr. Olajide Boladuro have been appointed as Directors-General of the Oyo State Agency for Living with Disabilities and the Oyo State Gaming Board, respectively.
Additionally, Bishop David Moradeyo has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Christian Wing), while Sheikh Hashim Olamide Wahab Atere takes on the role of Chairman of the Muslim Wing of the Board.
Governor Makinde has also approved several other appointments, including:
Rev. Femi Ibikunle as Special Assistant for Inter-Faith Affairs
Mr. Timothy Olufemi Sunday as Executive Assistant for Disabilities Matters
Alhaji AbdulRasheed Adewale as Special Assistant for Islamic Affairs
Mr. Lanre Dairo as Special Assistant for Housing & Urban Development
Rt. Hon. Olaniyan Babatunde David as Executive Chairman of Shooting Stars
Mr. Ayoola Olowosoke as Chairman of the Agency for Adult and Non-formal Education (AANFE)
Sheikh Akeugberu Taofeeq Akewugbagold as Chairman of Agric Credit Corporation
Engr. Ojekunle Ezekiel as Chairman of the Rural Electrification Board
Mrs. Adedotun Bolanle Olaitan as Chairperson of the Broadcasting Service of Oyo State (BCOS)
Mr. Tolu Kuku as Senior Special Assistant for Domestic Affairs
According to a letter from the Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, all these appointments take immediate effect.
