Oyo State Governnor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has reiterated commitment of his government to ensure safety for students across the state.
Governor Makinde made the promise, today (Tuesday) in Ogbomoso while reacting to the killing of a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
The governor, who was represented by the State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Salihu Adelabu at the grand finale of 16th graduation ceremony of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, said the promise became imperative in a bid to investigate issues surrounding the killing of the undergraduate.
BCOS correspondent in Ogbomoso, Aderemi Akanmu reported that the student was shot dead on Monday, while two other students were injured.
