The oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has been elected as the presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

According to the National Chairman of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Alhaji Yusuf Dantali, he described the process as the most peaceful and rancour free in the history of Nigeria.

The national chairman presented the certificate of return and the flag of the party to Makinde.

The affirmation of Makinde’s consensus candidacy was unanimously done by all the 36 state chairmen.

The event is still ongoing at the Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, Ibadan.
