Over the past few weeks the news of His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde Dissolving his Cabinet have attracted different kinds of reactions from various quarters. It is therefore expected that rumours and speculations will fly around as to what the Governor’s next line of action will be. We can all agree that the State will not be run for the next 22 months of this present Administration without Commissioners for each Ministry, new working commissioners will most likely be announced, However substantial information about the names on the list has not been circulated by the only Authority in charge.

As the English parable says Curiosity kills the cat, enthusiastic speculation and rumour flying around will in no way influence the thorough selection process that His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde will engage to deliver the best Cabinet that will be saddled with working tirelessly to move Oyo State forward.

Governor Seyi Makinde has been given the mandate to direct the helms of  affairs of Oyo State. Therefore let’s trust him to make the best decision that is fair, unbiased and sincere in appointing commissioners for his Cabinet, instead of trying to do his job for him by propagating cheap unsubstantiated rumours of a false list.
