The Deputy Governorship flag bearer of the African Democratic Congress(ADC) in the coming 2023 gubernatorial election in Oyo State, Emmanuel Oyetayo Oyelowo has resigned from his aspiration and membership of the ADC, to pitch tent with Governor Seyi Makinde of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).

In his opinion, the incumbent Governor has been performing well, recorded successes and delivered his 4-pillar manifesto as slated in the Roadmap for Accelerated Development 2019-2023.

He stated that he would be an enemy of such development if he doesn’t join force to support Engr. Seyi Makinde in accomplishing what he has started, and so it was necessary for him as a true patriot and selfless indigene of Oyo State to support the continuity of the incumbent.
