The meeting aimed to promote Oyo State’s investment opportunities and explore potential partnerships in sustainable cities, industrial agriculture, and logistics.
MEDEF expressed interest in investing in Oyo State’s agribusiness industrial hub in Ijaiye and the proposed Rungis-style wholesale agrifood market. The French investors also showed keen interest in the state’s airport cargo and agro-logistics, particularly with the ongoing upgrade of Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport to an international airport.
The Oyo State Government assured MEDEF of its commitment to supporting interested investors and creating a conducive business environment in the state. This development is expected to boost the state’s economic growth and development.
